I've installed all the drivers listed, but video and audio fails.

The drivers that display error messages are:

- sp33549.exe: NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150 Graphics Driver
- sp34386.exe: Conexant High Definition Audio Driver

What's the matter?

Finally the audio is OK.

The correct XP audio driver for Presario F500 is:

sp34200.exe: Conexant High Definition Audio Driver

Now, IÂ´ll try to find the correct XP video driver (NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150 Graphics Driver).

Chipset,Video,etc drivers from this model should work on the 500 and 505.

Inicially, video driver (sp33537.exe) donÂ´t work.
When run it, display an error message that say something like this: Can't locate a compatible driver for the hardware. (is a "sui generis" translation because the OS is in spanish)

Then, I've forced the installation via OS, without use of patch setup and now video is OK.

I have similar problem with Presario F555US. I need XP drivers for Video.

HP tech support insist the video is nvidia Geforce go 6150 But the Vista drivers report its a C51. Maybe the C51 and 6150 are the same.

All I know is that the XP drivers tech support keeps providing, report incompatible hardware.

Does anyone have an XP video driver solution for the Presario F555US notebook?

The drivers for XP from this model should work.Install the Nforce Chipset Driver first and then try the video driver.For audio,install the MS UAA first and then audio driver:

NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150 Is a part of the GeForce 6 Series. Go to http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp and select the GeForce 6 Series Driver, this should work.

How do you force the OS to load the driver? I went to device manager and tried to update the driver but it said software not found.

The sp33537.exe file works. You cannot use the automated install. You have to go to the device manager and update the video driver manually.

Uncompress the drivers into a subdirectory and make sure the .inf is there. Go into device manager and you'll see the yellow caution alert for the vga. Hit properties and go to update drivers. Then go through the steps to manually select the 6150. It goes through the install process and works fine.

Hope this helps because it caused me some grief

I have a PresarioF566LA and all the drivers posted here worked very good, except for the video drivers. I tried all the drivers posted, but always appears the error message. Anyone knows that video card includes this notebook and which driver is the correct?

I have been successful with all devices except the audio device.

Audio device on High Definition Audio Bus

Does not show up in my system hardware for me to do a manual driver install. The driver errors out when I try to run the setup executable and states that "Driver installation Failed: Could not find the MEDIA device for this driver. I installed the Microsoft UAA first, then attempted the audio driver install. Both SP34386.exe (first) then upon recommendation I attempted to install the SP34200.exe audio driver.
The error is the same for both drivers and I do not see 'Audio device on High definition audio bus' to complete a manual driver installation. I would really love to have sound in Windows XP.

I have attached my current system state reported my msinfo32.exe. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If you don't have "Audio device on High Definition Audio Bus" listed then you don't have MS UAA installed.Have you run the UAA installer?If not run this:
