I download from here, but haven't tried it though. I'll try when I get time.

I downgraded Presario C771US and every thing seems to be working fine. I am not able to install SATA driver.

Will my machine work fine without SATA driver? Will I have any problems in future? I have read that performance will be slow, but how slow?

I am not able to get audio working on Presario C771US, even though device manager shows audio driver is fine.

Did it work for anyone? Please let me know.

You need to install MS-UAA before Audio driver and reboot.

Conexant SmartAudio 221:

http://www.mediafire.com/?dg0cmmkm4y4

Unzip to a folder of choice.
From Device Manager, right click "Audio Device on HD",choose Update driver,
No to connect,
Install from a list or specific location,
Select Don't Search, I will choose the driver to install,

For the Hardware Type select 'Show All Devices'

Remove the check from "Show Compatible Hardware" and click on "Have Disk".

Next...browse to the unzipped folder and choose the "WiSVHe5.inf".

Ignore XP when it complains.

Reboot.

Hi Rakhmad,

I have installed MS-UAA before Audio driver but I didn't reboot after MS-UAA installation. Is that the mistake I did?
