hi folks
need some help, am in the middle of formatting my old pc [first time], got into bios ok, have boot menu up, wanting select cd drive to boot, have highlighted cd drive which is third from top, my prob is how do i move cd drive to the top, have tried plus and minus, but to no avail,when i select, and press enter, takes me to next page any help would be great

Alan, I believe that you can use the arrow keys. I have not done it for awhile, so I am not certain.

Let me know if that doesn't work. I will reboot to see what I can do for you.

have tried arrows, but cannot move drive up to top once highlighted, suppose something simple. thanks again

thanks for all your help, managed to get pc to boot from cd, don't know what i did, somehow got cd drive to top of list. cheers

cheers mate as i said can move cd to first boot, using arrows, and when i highlight to save change, press enter to save, it takes me to next page, without saving. looks like this auld yin need to go back to school.
