First, there has been no system policy implemented to prohibit access outside of the company network.

I have an HP/Compaq 8510w laptop with a built in wireless adapter. The wireless had been working at home and at work, then all of a sudden the wireless stop working at both locations. It's now working in the office again (the blue LED indicator turns on), I don't know what I did, but it's still not working at home (the blue LED indicator does not turn on). The wireless LED won't go blue no matter what I try, "repair" or disable and re-enable which is basically the same as repair. I uninstalled and reinstalled the adapter and driver to no avail. Any suggestions?

The blue wireless LED is also a button, have you tried pressing it? It turns on and off the wireless devices (WLAN & Bluetooth)

I'm having the same problem

The wireless assistant says the wireless is disabled by the button.

Pushing the button just toggles the icon from off to disabled.

The problem started about two weeks ago after a failed system update that has been fixed since.

I've gone to the driver resource and reloaded every driver for the wireless device and the manager
