I have it hooked up to a network, everything works for a while but after it recieves/sends a fax or copies/prints it gives me an error message saying"Scanner Failure: Turn off then on Again". It is so random when it happens because it can happen when it finishes any one of those funtions. The scanner works fine.
I then turn it off then back on again and everything works for a couple of hour.

Thank you for the link but I have tried different outlets and still getting the error message. The a/c was even out for the day in that room so it was a little warmer than usual in that office and unfortunately that didn't work either.
Any suggestions |

Hello Tino -
The scanner hardware may not be able to maintain the necessary temperature. I suggest you contact Customer Care at 208-323-2551.

I went ahead and called customer care and they tried to walked me through some procedures and still didn't work. They finally came to the conclusion that there was a defect in the scanner bulb and to just get the "all in one" replaced since it was still under warranty. Does HP have a 800# customer care line, if not what's up with that? |

Hello Tino -
There is not a 800# for Customer Care. You will need to dial 208-323-2551.
