Can you replace/upgrade a SA641 with a SA6402 controller without data loss?
If so how would you go about this?

Hi Mark,

I have heard from couple of my colleagues that RAID card replacement (especially upgrade and expansion) does wipes out Array partitions !

So my advice would be to take full backup to be on safe side.
