I can't seem to get my rx3115 to connect to my wireless network. I want to surf the internet with my iPAQ through the wireless router. The manual that is included with the rx3115 is no help at all. I've had no problems connecting my laptop to the same network, but the rx3115 seems to be quite different.
I'm using WEP and MAC Address Filtering.
I can see the network on the rx3115 and it says that it is available, but the rx3115 won't connect to it. I've played around with the settings and I have going errors like "no network card present" and "cannot connect with current settings."
I'm don't understand the VPN because I don't have one. I'm not dialing up to a modem (I have roadrunner). I don't have a proxy server.
So what do I do to get my rx3115 to connect to the internet with WiFi and my wireless router? Please be as detailed as possible.
Please please please help me.

The 3115 has some compatibility issues with certain routers... DHCP doesn't seem to work properly sometimes. That may not be your issue... WEP and MAC filtering can make the initial connection process more difficult -- you should consider temporarily disabling them...
These tools can help sort out connection problems... Tell me what info pocketDCHP provides.
i'm having the same problem, and ive had it with both a Linksys WRT54G router and a D-Link DI-524, and on both my rx3115 and my Palm Zire 72s with wifi card, funny thing is that both of my units work with the same routers at my job, just not at my home, even with the exact same settings, i can connect at work with all the brand routers ive tried, which are a few from linksys, belkin, and d-link. really bothers me since i sort of bought the rx3115 for the wifi feature...
Calvin, could you download and install vxUtil (the 3rd of the programs christak recommended), run its Info section and let us know what it has to say under the WLAN Adapter section of its report? Could you do that for both your home and your work networks? The comparison should reveal something.
Russell, would it be possible to turn WEP and MAC filtering off on your router until youu've established a solid connection. They can always be added back later. (By the way, have you ever tried your iPaq on another network or a public hotspot? Does the WiFi connect there?)
