omnidb -strip put your backup objects details in expired.

So you still can recover your data only up to directory or drive level not for individual file.

you may try to recover your IDB or import all your tape to recover this.

Hi,

Appreciate your fast response.
Does it affect the backup schedule and other settings?
I read from the manual and from my understanding. i remove those expired detail catalog... is it mean to be just removing those 'expired' details catolog?
and one more thing... what is detail catalog anyway...?
Appreciate your help. Thank you.

It would not affect future backup, but pass backup history will be affected. If you want to get back all restore session to normal, recover or import the media.

Not able to recover pass session in detail level.

e.g.

c:\compaq\utils\n610c.exe

you only able to restore up to

c:\compaq\utils\

but not

c:\compaq\utils\n610c.exe
