We have an old HP 2563A printer that I don't have any experience with. The main user of this printer is constantly getting Error 13 Paper Jams when using a specific paper size. He uses 2 different size paper, only one of them is getting the error. When it does get the error, there are no visible jams, paper is still aligned with no folds or any other discrepencies. The workaround is to feed to TOF and the job will then continue where it left off, but of course will soon stop with the same error.
Any ideas?

I'm trying to remember the old 2563A.... I believe the original jam detect sensor was a foam wheel on the left tractor (which holds the paper). It may be that there is not enough pressure against this wheel or the paper is slick. You can try cleaning the foam wheel.
I think there was a later generation sensor that was optical and would actually "see" the holes pass by as the paper was fed. In this case, check to make sure that the sensor is clean. It could also be that the holes are not always punched completely through, leaving chaff hanging and therefore the sensor does not "see" the holes going by. If that's the case, then you need to speak to the paper supplier about the paper not being properly manufactured.
