Dear all
I have a Ignite-UX server on L3000 and a client which is rx2600 using ignite C.7.9.260. I can do backup by using make_net_recovery -s L3000, but I got "Unable to link /var/opt/ignite/data/INDEX to /var/opt/ignite/INDEX. No such file or directory (errno = 2)" when I try to restore.
I am sure I got these files on L3000 and I was using boot DVD then choose "install from Ignite-UX"
Can anyone please kindly give me a hand?
Thx

Make sure you have exported all the files on L3000 properly and you have an INDEX file under the appropriate directory structure. To check if everything is exported properly, try and mount the exported files manually and check that it can see all of the required files.

I suspect that you may have a version mismatch of Ignite bewteen the server and the client.

Use 'swlist | grep -ign' on both to make sure.

The very lastest version of Ignite, C.7.9.x, which you are using on your client, actually expects to find the INDEX file in /var/opt/ignite/data/INDEX with a soft link to /var/opt/ignite/INDEX.
