Hello everyone,

I have an XW6200 Workstation with the LSI20320HP SCSI-PCI controller.
I want to enter the setup (BIOS) of the SCSI-controller, but unfortunately I found no way to get in it yet.
However in the manual of the LSI for HP (http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c00212949/c00212949.pdf)
it says press Ctrl-C during the booting of the XW6200, but there is no such a message while booting - anyway I tried it an pressed many times the Ctrl-C key-combination without any reaction.

While the pc is booting, there is a message "press F8" which shows a menu for the SCSI-ID changing but no configuration program for the controller.

What do I wrong? How can I enter the BIOS of the LSI20320HP SCSI-Controller?

Thanks in advance
Greeting
Thomas

Hi,

Try Ctrl + S during POST

Hello,

thanks for your message.

Ctrl-S is for PXE-Configuration.

There is just F8 for the SCSI, but as I wrote, it doesn't show the SCSI-Configuration :-(

I think the LSI20320HP is branded/customized by HP-Firmware. During POST in the LSI section is a line "HP Build".

Hello all,

I have the solution!!!

It was so as I guessed. The firmware and BIOS of the installed LSI20320 Controller was burned and customized by HP.
Now I reflashed first the firmware with the firmeware from HP-Download-Center and then flashed the BIOS with the LSI-Utilities from the LSI-Website.
