I have a networked HP 4015n with 2 trays. tray 3 is plain paer and tray 2 is wrist bands.
just recently the printer has started to ask for glossy paper on the manual feed tray after every print. turn it of for a few seconds and turn it back on and it is back to normal until someone prints to it.
i have tried resetting the printer to factory defaults and setting back up again and it is ok for the first few prints then back to requesting glossy paper on manual feed tray.
any help would be great!!!

Well I do not think this is a printer issue, but a driver or application issue. When the printer ask for a certain paper in tray 1 it means it received a command for that type of paper and none of the trays on the printer contain that type of paper or at least the printer does not think that type of paper is in the tray. Unless your wrist bands are set for glossy paper and it is changing then the issue is the application or driver. Printer is fine.
Is it always the same user whose print job asks for glossy paper? If so, check what the defaults are on the printer driver object on that person's workstation.
