My printer had a feeding problem so I took it apart and fixed that. But now the paper will feed through but it is blank. Obviously there is plenty of ink in the cartridge. I was messing with the wires a lot trying to fix my other problem. Any ideas why the sheets would come out blank? I tried printing in multiple applications from 2 different computers with the same results. I wonder what I damaged?

Ranger,

Open up the printer. Can you see any residue or toner caked on anything? This might suggest that the fuser is not getting enough power to fuse the toner to the paper.

Another thing to check would be to send a job through the printer. Grab the paper as soon as it comes out. Does it feel warm?

Based on what you have told me my guess would be that you messed up something with the toner cartridge or the fuser. Although Ive never seen it power on and fail to print, there is a first time for everything.

Thanks!
