laserjet series 2 papeper jams on every print. Paper will not catch or come thorugh. any suggestions

Very difficult to repair since the pickup roller for this printer is no longer available. Below is a link to a reputile firm that carries a non-oem roller and kit with instructions which may be your only choice.

Although I generally agree with David Zuts and agree that the pick-up roller is the problem (they get hardened from the temperature of the fuser, over time), I disagree that the parts are not available. It is true that genuine HP parts may be very hard to find but they can be found. Try eBay, but be careful to deal with a vendor which sells feed rollers as a primary product. Unlike some years ago when rollers were out of spec and made of questionable material, todays rollers are far better, even replacement brand rollers.

Also be sure to change the cork separation pad. A good roller vendor will include a separation pad with the kit. You can also get the same parts through Moe at fixyourownprinter.com

He has a kit which will include a video showing how to do the job.
