Hi, I have a problem with a driver of a MSL5026. This the message i see: did not match serial number xxxxxxxx provided by Compaq StorageWorks DLT/SDLT Minium (Changer0) among the list of drivers.
Someone knows gives some information to me?

Thanks

i wonna use NTBACKUP on W2003 server.
if ai connet in SCSI the LTO to the server, it see two DLT and a Changer. but if i connet it in Fiber Channel, the server mount 1 DLT and a Changer, and in the event viewer i see that error

The information flows bit by bit into this thread ...

You should check the NSR discovery and mapping page now.

Yes, there are a Web and a Telnet interface and with the special cable you can also make a serial connection (but do not confuse the MSL cable with the NSR cable).

Newer NSR model and newer firmware has a default IP setting of DHCP!

To change this, you need a serial connection.

Power cycle the box to ensure it is not hung. Connect to serial port and see what it does.

Should be delivered with the box. Caution - there are 2 different cables (for library and NSR), they look similar, but are different!
