Is there a ia64 build for Command view SDM for the VA7410 VA disk array?

Thanks

Never tried that, but the manual says Windows, HP-UX and Linux.

Yes, I have seen that, the problem is I'm trying to use the va7410 with an rx7620 Itanium box / ia64 type. The only Linux driver that I can find on any HP publication is for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3.0 for an x86 (Proliant) type platform.

The latest versions are around 5 years old - so probably out of luck. Windoze may be an option for management ...

BTW, did you try to install it anyway? Since most is JAVA based, it might work (I have no clue if it does).

yea, Linux sees the array but it does not allow us to do anything with it.

You may want to try installing the latest CV SDM s/w on RHEL AS 3.0 IA64 OS to see if it works.

Other options would be install the CV SDM on a Windows box and manage the array through the serial port on the array.
