I have noticed that my previous admin has installed hpvm trial version and about to expire in 2/3 days. These are production systems and have 3 VM's on it....

How do I activate them without a reboot or shutdown of the VM guest before it gets expires....

Note, you must remove the trial software before installing the supported version of the software. Any existing guests will be preserved.

You must remove the trial version before you can install the full version.

This means downtime!

So it is like..

Stop the guests...
remove the s/w
install the new one
and start the guests

or will I have to recreate the guests and everything
