Can I use my current DTC terminals (100 pieces) after transition to HP-UX platform?

Yes DTCs are also supported on HP-UX. What are the DTCs models?

Is your answer YES - OS ver. dependant (UX 10.x, 11.xx)? We have all 100 terminal connected to MPE 6.5 on 969KS/120 now and we plant to transit to UX RP server XXXX. Thanks for answer...

Hello Partsch,

Yes DTC72MX is supported on HP-UX. Software wise, all DTCs are supported through HP-UX 11.11. Hardware wise, be aware some DTCs (DTC16, DTC48, DTC16TN) are obsolete.

Hello Partsch,

On HP-UX, the DTCs can be managed either PC-Based or Host-Based like on MPE.

If PC-Based, minimum OV/DTCMGR version 14.0 is required.

If Host-Based, minimum DTC Manager/UX versions A.14.3A on HPUX 10.20, A.14.4J on HP-UX 11.x are required.
