We are migrating from a HP3000 to a Windows environment(we are still investigating Unix or Windows). On the HP3000 we use the product Suprtool a lot. Suprtool is available for Unix but not for Windows. Does anyone knows a good replacement for Suprtool (same kind of functionality) for the Windows environment?

Hello Ed,

I suggest you post this to the Microsoft Windows room that you are looking for a database extraction tool.

Hello Emile,

We use Suprtool also for selections in flat files. For database selections we can use standard SQL

Ed,

Perhaps you should try contacting the good folks at Robelle. I'm sure that with enough friendly persuasion ($$$$$ in USD's) they might do something for you...Seriously, if enough customers ask for a product, the folks at Robelle have ALWAYS provided what the 3000 have needed...they might do it in this case as well.

Chuck,

I dont have time to wait for that.
(Re)building an tool for another platform takes a lot of time.
Regards,
Ed
